Shanyrak “Kaspi”

Shanyrak “Kaspi” consists of three grades. Each student of the Shanyrak knows the meaning of the words “respect”, “responsibility” and “union”. Each person in our community has an interesting hobby like singing, dancing, composing poems or writing articles. We also have our own leaders. Our curator gives us an example of help, compassion and kindness. These qualities help to achieve success, and we are striving to do our best at all times.

The legendary Dosmukasan

On November 8, students of Shanyrak “Kaspi” organized a morning gathering titled “The story of one song”. Students and teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kokshetau saw the legendary Kazakh ensemble “Dosmukasan” on the stage. Spectators applauded to famous songs “Kalaysyn”, “16 kyz”, “Toy Zhyry”.

In order to tell the story about the famous musicians students prepared a great performance. The action took place in 1960-s and 1970-s, and students made special decorations to represent these decades. They also donned the clothes of that time and rehearsed dances. Finally, the live sound of guitars really re-created the atmosphere of the performance era.

Students had been meticulously preparing for this presentation for several weeks, and everyone was involved in the process. Some of them were acting on stage; others helped with props or looked after technical equipment behind the scenes. This work helped students of grades 8 and 11 of “Kaspi” Shanyrak feel united and make new friends.
