“Bracelet of wishes”
On April 20, there was an action “Bracelet of wishes” in our dormitory organized by our psychologists. The purpose of this campaign was to develop children’s moral relationships to each other, improve good wishes of love and mercy and also increase open – heartedness and confidence in one another. During the event the children were to take one piece of thread from the bracelet on their own necks and tie it to another person’s bracelet expressing the best wishes from the bottom of the hearts. It is supposed to restore human compassion and kindness decreasing in everyday routine and to say a kind word to each other. Through the bracelet activity a great hidden feeling is to wake up and get children closer. This campaign aimed to utter the kindest regards expressed in friendly and warm language that impressed the participants greatly.
Asyia Aidarkhankizy, the head of the dormitory who in no time has become a caring mother for the children also took part in the event.
“Today I’ve got the most valuable prize, and this is one of my most expensive bracelets because it is made of precious words which have come from the core of the soles, ” she said.
We all received great impetus and memorable impressions from hearty wishes.
Here so we begin to live together!
Only two weeks passed from the date of the ceremonial opening of our hostel! That day white fluffy snow danced in the wind, that meant the good beginning. Joyful faces of children and worried parents: “How will children now live in this big beautiful house by their own?”
Greeting of the principal Urazbekova Z. K, her wishes to the pupils that the hostel became for them the second home and they come together in the large close-knit family, set good spirits to all. Then came performance of children and the Kazakh custom “shashu” (throwing candies)! The ribbon is cut, and now doors of the spacious, warm, cozy hostel have opened. How much and how little time passed since then.
Life began to seethe! Ringing children’s voices have filled rooms and halls of floors. Boys dashed into the gym at once. It became the most visited and favourite place not only for them, but also for girls. Classrooms for additional education aren’t left aside, there are visitors too. And what interesting eyelets, hooklets one can see at “Magic Ball” hobby group classes. An eyelet, one more eyelet and here is an oval, and then circles and suddenly – a mask of an owl has turned out! Girls look at the result with pleasure. Fine beginning!
And now look, what is going on at the next table? Something is cut, assembled, built into something unclear, but it is extended in hands and turns out to be a figure model. It is the result of Kirigami club pupils’ work. Beads sparkle in hands, are put on glue, then an imperceptible stroke and a creation is hand made, a beauty and nothing else! Sure enough, it is the club “Beadweaving”. It is only a part of leisure time. Everything necessary is provided for our children, and it is wonderful!
