In Kokshetau Nazarbayev Intellectual School was organized the Summer School for primary school students of grades 1-4. Summer School worked from May 27 till June 7, 2019
The purpose of organizing the Summer School is the development of academic potential and skills of project-research activities, as well as assistance in the complex social and aesthetic development of students.
In order to develop language culture and mathematical literacy of students, were organized the following courses : «Mystery of the Word», «English for Fun» , «Linguistic Storeroom» , «Sikurly Kazak Tili», and «Entertaining Mathematics» («Kyzykty mathematics»)
In the classroom, students worked with linguistic fairy tales, various word games, such as «Spelling Bee», charades, megagrams, tried their hand at analyzing literary text, made crosswords and puzzles.
The classes consisted not only of theoretical material, but also of the practical part with various types of exercises.
In order to gain experience in artistic and creative activities, as well as to inculcate artistic and aesthetic taste, were held classes in drawing «The World Around Us», where students worked in various techniques: applique, plasticinegraphy, sculpture, non-traditional drawing technique (drawing with the palms, printing leaves, blowing with a tube, etc.), and used different materials: colored pencils, gouache, watercolor, colored paper, carton, plasticine and etc.In addition, there were classes in music “Merry notes”, as well as classes in choreography. Every morning in the Summer School began with a fun rhythmic flash mob. In order to prevent a healthy lifestyle and upbringing the sporting spirit, a wellness hour was spent at which children played outdoor games, practiced on simulators under the guidance of an instructor. The main work was aimed at engaging students in recreational physical culture and sports, the ability to independently perform general developmental exercises. Students visited interactive performances in the Akmola Oblast Philharmonic. Children also went out into the nature to breathe fresh air.
Primary school students enjoyed attending classes, performed all the tasks with great pleasure and interest, expressed a desire to continue visiting Summer School next year.
