Sharing experience (demonstrative lessons)
Annually, primary school teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual school in Kokshetau together with the Centre for Pedagogic Excellence broadcast their experience, show demonstrative lessons in different regional seminars which are held for local teachers.
The main purpose of these seminars is the implementation and realization of new teaching approaches as part of a renewed content.
Due to these seminars, teachers from local schools have an opportunity to find out how this new program works. For example, implementation of criteria based assessment, how to create descriptors, how to create tasks according to Bloom’s taxonomy, etc.
While exchanging experience, teachers of NIS share their best achievements, with colleagues, work out some elements of teaching. All these has positive results and allow teachers to improve their skills.
