Within the framework of celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics in Kokshetau, the «Model United Nations» conference on «Human Rights of Unaccompanied Migrant Children and Adolescents» was held, which was attended by the students of profile school-gymnasium of multilingual education №3 named after M.Gabdullin, students of Kokshetau higher kazakh pedagogical college named after Zh. Mussin and students of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics in Kokshetau. The delegation from profile school-gymnasium of multilingual education №3 named after M. Gabdullin was presented by Grade 10 students Alibekova Dilnaz, Bekitova Tumarbike and Dayana Karimova, who were speaking delegates of the United States. The 1st and 2nd year students of Kokshetau higher kazakh pedagogical college named after Zh.Mussin Dusanova Nursaule, Mussina Kamila, Saidaminova Assem, Ziken Aruzhan, Izakhmetova Aiganym and Kaptayeva Karina have taken on the role of Germany and Mexico delegates. The delegation from Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics in Kokshetau was attended by students of Grade 11 Polekhin Alexey, Alpysbaeva Yerkegul, Alpysbaeva Assemgul, Kalieva Anel, Tokmurzina Saida, Mustafina Medina, Amenov Yernar, Mukatova Dilnaz and Kapar Dana, who presented Greece, Myanmar and Bangladesh. The conference was chaired by Diana Kenzhebekova, who moderated the meeting in accordance with the Rules of procedure and sought to ensure the effective functioning of the authority and respect for the rights of all representatives.
During the conference, young delegates from different countries were able to try on the roles of a diplomat, discussed the issues on the UN agenda, shared their views on how to change the world for the better, participated in the discussions, wrote resolutions, tried to find things in common between representatives of different countries.
Keldibekova Liliya Muratbekovna, a lecturer of foreign languages Department in Kokshetau state University named after Sh.Ualikhanov, who was an intern in the United States, California, Los Angeles; Ryspayeva Dinara Sarsenbayevna, a candidate of philological Sciences, Assisstant professor, head of English and TM Department and Vakhab Madina, a teacher from the USA, New York, Queens, who is having her English Language Teaching Fellowship in Kokshetau were invited as an independent jury. The jury members appreciated the presentation done by delegates and rendered the following verdict:
Mukatova Dilnaz, Grade 11 student of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics of Kokshetau, the representative of Bangladesh was recognized in the «Best speaker» nomination. The certificate in the «Best debater» nomination was awarded to Bekitova Tumarbike, Grade 10 student of profile school-gymnasium of multilingual education №3 named after M.Gabdullin, representing the USA. The team of Greece was recognized as «Best team» on a delegation of Polekhin Alexei, Alpysbaeva Yerkegul and Alpysbaeva Assemgul. Memorable gifts and certificates were presented to all winners and participants of the conference.
Participation in the UN Model conference provided an opportunity for all delegates to study and analyze the domestic and foreign policies of the represented countries. During the conference, delegates were able to reveal their intellectual and creative potential, as well as to think broadly towards the position of other people.
