English Week

English Week

Every subject week is a special period for both teachers and students.  The teachers  and learners plan the activities  to enjoy and then   the  learners do their  best   participating  in various performances, activities, tasks, experiencing new bright emotions, obtaining new skills or developing them.

This week activity for the 7th grade learners  was  created  together with the international teachers. They  eagerly  agreed to tell about the games which children in their countries like to play. The students got the instructions for the games, learned  the  rules of the games, practiced playing them. After  the  thorough preparation  the 7th grade students  taught the learners of the 4th grades to play the new games which are  popular  among  the children in different countries of the world.

The participants   not only enjoyed  playing games of different  countries, but they also  had a great opportunity to widen their scope about the various places in the  world, learned  new  English words and spoke English with the schoolmates and international teachers.

Children all over the world like to play games.  Now our students know about some popular American, British, Australian games. They played the games and enjoyed the time spent together.

The Programme of the elective course “English with Fun” was develop for the students of a language  immersion  class  4 A. The students have been learning English for a year and a half and they made a great progress in developing their skills and achieved good results in learning English.

At the lessons   the learners enjoy reading tales, legends, stories  and telling  them to each other or to their schoolmates. They like to draw pictures and illustrations to the stories they read, make posters, prepare presentations and show them.

The students in our school are very talented. They like to create things, they have marvelous ideas. The Programme  which is being implemented  at school is aimed to develop students’ curiosity, talents, desire to learn, to motivate students to develop their language skills and achieve good results in their  work.
